Fife Pride 2021 – Virtual Pride, Real Community

Building on 2020’s success, Fife Pride 2021 returned with a bigger and more dynamic virtual celebration, streamed live and pre-recorded from Kirkcaldy High School on Saturday 3rd July. From 1pm to 4pm, audiences joined us from across the region — and beyond — for an afternoon of music, messages, drag, dance, and community celebration, all from the comfort of home.

With contributions from local performers, Pride partners, community voices and allies, Virtual Fife Pride 2021 celebrated LGBTQIA+ life in Fife with positivity, resilience, and plenty of sparkle. Whether people were watching with a cuppa, a cocktail, or just their feet up, everyone was welcome.

Hosted by the fabulous April, the event featured performances from incredible talents including Ginger FruitsLola FierceJordy DeelightThe Passing Sages, and The Coaltown Daisies, among others — blending live energy and digital creativity into one joyful celebration.

As ever, we kept the space kind and inclusive: online comments were open for cheer and celebration — and we made it clear that negativity wasn’t welcome. Pride is for everyone, and Fife Pride 2021 reminded us that even when we’re apart, our community is still deeply connected.

Pride might have been virtual — but the love was very real.
