Our Fife Pride Youth Zone returned in 2019 — bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever! Delivered in partnership with Fife Cultural Trust and Fife Council’s CLD Service, the space offered a dedicated, affirming environment for LGBT+ young people, friends, family, and allies.
Held inside the Adam Smith Theatre on Saturday 6th July from 1pm to 4pm, the Youth Zone was hosted by the fabulous Frans Gender, and packed with free, inclusive activities designed to entertain, empower, and inspire.
Young attendees enjoyed live music from emerging artists, alongside henna tattoos, nail art, face painting, a selfie mirror, and fabulous appearances from drag kings and queens. There were also arts & crafts, a mocktail making station, Gabbi the Clown, a visit from the local fire engine, plus stalls, partner inputs, and plenty of rainbow freebiesto take home.
The Youth Zone was a joyful, creative, and welcoming space — a vital part of Fife Pride that showcased the voices, talents, and spirit of our young LGBTQIA+ community.
