
Here’s how the celebration unfolded:
9:00am – Pride Breakfast
The day kicked off bright and early with a warm welcome at The Hive, where the ever-popular Pride Breakfast returned. For just £6.00, attendees enjoyed a hearty start to the day, with great company and rainbow vibes before the festivities officially began.
1:00pm – Parade

The Pride Parade gathered from 12:30pm at Fife College’s St. Brycedale campus and stepped off at 1:00pm, following this vibrant route through the heart of Kirkcaldy:
- Start: Carlyle Road (Fife College)
- Down Kirk Wynd
- Along the High Street (pedestrian zone)
- Right up Whytescauseway
- Finishing at Kirkcaldy Town Square by the Town House
Led by the Kirkcaldy and District Pipe Band, the march filled the streets with colour, music, and community power.

1:30pm – Festival Entertainment & Community Zones
From 1:15pm to 6:30pm, Kirkcaldy Town Square came alive with a packed programme of entertainment and activity. Hosted by the fabulous April Adamás, the main stage saw a dazzling array of performers and special guests, including:
- Off Centre Ceilidh Band
- April Adamás and drag acts
- Cilla Black Tribute
- Jolene – Scotland’s Dolly Parton Tribute
- FABBAulous
- Just the Brave
- DJ Eden
- Easy Ride
Dozens of community stalls lined the square, offering information, services, pride merch, and chances to connect with local organisations doing great work in Fife and beyond.
Youth Zone – The Hive (1:15pm–4:30pm)
The Youth Zone returned to The Hive, providing a welcoming and inclusive space for young people. Highlights included:
- Arts and crafts
- Karaoke
- Dancing and workout sessions
- Badge making
- Computer games
- And more!

7:00pm – Official Afterparty
The official Fife Pride Afterparty made its fabulous return in 2024 — held at The Hive and hosted by the sensational Cherry West. A full evening of music, drag, and fun featured:
- Claire Sweeney (headline act)
- Kel and Ka-Hulas
- Dynamo Divas – ABBA Tribute
A packed house, high energy, and the perfect way to end a day of pride and joy.
Fife Pride 2024 filled the streets of Kirkcaldy with colour, connection, and celebration. Whether you joined the parade, danced at the stage, volunteered behind the scenes, or cheered from the sidelines — you helped make it a day to remember.
