About

Fife Pride is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), charity number SC053116.

Established in 2017, Fife Pride began as a partnership between local organisations working to improve services, visibility, and representation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people across the Kingdom of Fife. Our aim was, and still is, to create a vibrant annual celebration of equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Since our founding, we’ve hosted Pride events every year, except in 2020 and 2021, when we moved online with successful “Virtual Prides.”

In recent years, Fife Pride has expanded beyond a single annual event, placing a stronger emphasis on year-round community engagement. Through our Fife Pride on Tour programme, we now deliver smaller, locally based events across Fife, ensuring Pride reaches communities that may not always be able to attend the main celebration.

These include quiz nights, fundraisers, competitions, showcases, and community-led social events, all designed to foster connection, visibility, and support for LGBTQIA+ people throughout the year. This approach reflects our commitment to making Pride more accessible, more representative, and more deeply rooted in the communities we serve.

Our organisation is led by dedicated members and trustees who are passionate about LGBTQ+ issues in Fife. Together, we’re committed to delivering an exciting, welcoming, and inclusive event for LGBTQ+ people and allies who live, work, or visit Fife.

We’re proud to work in partnership with Fife Council, Fife Centre for Equalities, Fife Voluntary Action, OnFife, and The Hive.

If you’re interested in joining the planning team or becoming a trustee, and want to help shape Fife Pride behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and be part of something powerful.
